This page explains what personal data Cores.Media collects, why, and who processes it on our behalf. ## Data controller Cores.Media is currently an independently developed project. The data controller responsible for your personal data is Esa Riikonen, reachable at hello@cores.media. ## What we collect When you sign in with Google to participate in a question or submit your own, we receive your name and email address from Google. This is stored to identify you when you participate ("like") or submit content, and to display your name if you choose to write publicly. When you submit a question, we store its content, your chosen tags, and (optionally) an image you upload. When you participate in a question, we store a record linking your account to that question. A small login token is stored in your browser (localStorage) to keep you signed in between visits. This never leaves your device except to authenticate your requests to our systems. ## Who processes this data Three services are involved in running Cores.Media: **Ghost** hosts the website itself, including published questions, answers, and articles. Ghost's data processing terms are available at ghost.org/dpa. **Cloudflare** powers the sign-in and participation system (ask.cores.media) and stores your account data, submitted questions, and participation records in its database. Cloudflare also handles email routing for hello@cores.media. **Google** provides the sign-in service (Google Identity Services). When you sign in, Google shares your name and email with us, governed by Google's own privacy policy. None of these services see more of your data than is necessary to perform their part, and none of your data is sold to anyone. ## Your rights You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, by emailing hello@cores.media. We will respond as quickly as we can. ## Changes As Cores.Media grows, this page will be updated to reflect that. We'll note the date of the most recent change below. Last updated: 17.august.2026
